Excellent condition WWII Italian Model 1938 Carcano Cavalry Carbine in 6.5 x 52mm caliber. This late war gun is not maker marked or dated, but the “TT” serial number prefix indicates manufacture by Gardone VT in 1943. Carbine is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers including barrel and stock. Metal finish is excellent original blue, with a little wear on the buttplate. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has nice even original blonde finish and crisp edges. Left side buttstock has a sharp clear matching serial number. Folding bayonet functions fine. A nice Carcano Cavalry Carbine with matching numbers.
