Very good condition WWII Japanese Type 97 Arisaka Rifle in 6.5 x 50mm caliber that was manufactured as part of the 1st Series by Nagoya Arsenal. Mum has been removed. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers including receiver, front band, floorplate, bolt body, and safety. Metal finish is excellent original blue. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks. Underside of buttstock has two sharp clear kanji character inspector proof marks. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. Scope is absent, but original rail and lock spring are present. A nice original WWII Japanese sniper rifle with matching numbers.
