Very good condition WWI US Model 1917 Enfield Rifle in .30-06 caliber that was manufactured by Eddystone, as marked on the receiver. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all visible Eddystone parts. Barrel is dated “1-18” for January 1918. Metal finish is arsenal refinished gray parkerized, showing some wear. Bore is very good with strong rifling and a little pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Underside of wrist and underside of forend, in front of the triggerguard, have “eagle head” markings. Forend tip is stamped “E”. Left side of stock has a Rock Island Arsenal “RIA/FK” rework cartouche below the receiver. Complete with correct original butt trap oiler and bore rope.
