Excellent condition WWII Japanese Type 38 Arisaka Carbine in 6.5 x 50mm caliber that has a full untouched mum on the receiver and was manufactured as part of the 5thSeries by Nagoya Arsenal. Carbine is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers including receiver, front band, floorplate, bolt body, safety, and firing pin. Metal finish is excellent original blue. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has nice original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Underside of buttstock has two small kanji character inspector proof marks. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A nice T-38 Carbine with mum and matching numbers.
