Good condition antique Whitney double barrel 12 gauge shotgun. Mechanically functions fine and has the distinctive dual triggerguards. Metal has mostly brown and gray patina. 30” barrels have good bright bores with a little pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some normal wear and handling marks. Forend has a crack. Only about 2,500 Whitney double barrel shotguns were manufactured from 1870-74. A good example that will make a fine addition to a collection.
