WWI US MODEL 1917 ENFIELD RIFLE-WINCHESTER-EXCELLENT-MARCH 1918 BARREL

Excellent condition WWI US Model 1917 Enfield Rifle in .30-06 caliber that was manufactured by Winchester, as marked on the receiver. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all visible Winchester parts except the Eddystone stock. Barrel is dated “3-18” for March 1918. Metal finish is arsenal refinished blued and parkerized, in excellent condition. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has been arsenal refinished and shows a few normal handling marks. Left side of stock has a San Antonio Arsenal “S.S.A.A.” rework cartouche below the receiver. Underside of wrist has a “P in square” cartouche. A nice Winchester P17 Enfield Rifle for your collection.
