Very good condition WWII US military M1 Garand semi auto rifle in .30-06 caliber. Receiver was manufactured by Springfield Armory and is serial number 2193xxx, which dates it to manufacture in October 1943. Rifle is NOT import marked and has Springfield barrel, op rod, bolt, trigger housing, and hammer, and Winchester safety. Barrel is dated “5-45” for May 1945. Metal is refinished high polish blue. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling and a little pitting near the gas port hole. Stock has been refinished and has nice glossy look. This rifle may be a VFW presentation gun and will make a great addition to a collection and a nice shooter.
