Very good condition Swedish CG63 Mauser bolt action target rifle in 6.5 x 55mm caliber. Built on a Model 1896 action that was manufactured by Carl Gustafs in 1916, as marked on the receiver. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has all matching serial numbers except the safety, triggerguard, and floorplate. Rifle is fitted with a Soderin receiver aperture rear sight and a globe front sight. Metal finish is nice original blue showing a little normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Right side of stock has a small chip by the receiver. Left side of forend rest has a Swedish shooting organization cartouche. Has original “crown C” marked buttplate. A nice example of a rare and desirable Swedish CG63 Mauser target rifle.
