Good condition WWII Russian 91/30 Mosin Nagant rifle in 7.62 x 54r caliber that has the Izhevsk Arsenal marking on the barrel and dated 1943. Rifle was contemporarily built into a sniper with a PEM scope. Not original wartime. Mount and base are reproductions, but scope appears to be original. Scope has original blue finish showing some normal wear and is dated 1938. Good clear optics. Sniper bolt body is also a reproduction. The rifle has no visible import markings, but these are probably under the scope mount on the receiver. Metal finish is Russian arsenal reblue. Barrel shank has some vise marks. Bore is good, gray with good rifling that shows some normal wear. Stock has been Russian arsenal refinished and shows some handling marks and flaking to the varnish. Toe has a large repaired chip. Buttplate has a resulting poor fit. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A classic 91/30 Mosin Nagant sniper style rifle that will make a great addition to a collection.
