Very fine condition French Mle 1949-56 MAS semi auto rifle in 7.5 x 54mm caliber. Rifle is import marked on the right side of the receiver and has matching serial numbers on the receiver and bolt housing. Bolt does not match. Metal finish is nice arsenal reparkerized. Bore is dark from shooting corrosive ammo and has strong rifling. Stock has excellent arsenal refinish and crisp edges. Complete with correct original leather sling and rubber recoil butt pad for launching grenades. A nice French 49/56 MAS rifle for your collection.
