Good condition Thai Type 91 Arisaka Carbine in 6.5 x 50mm caliber that has a nice Thai Chakra crest on the receiver ring. This interesting gun was a conversion of a Japanese Type 38 Arisaka performed at Bangkok Arsenal to more closely resemble American-supplied M1 Carbines. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers including receiver, bolt, stock, and handguard. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Front sight ears have been removed. Bolt handle has a brazed repair. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Stock has been refinished. A hard to find Arisaka variation that will make a great addition to a collection.
