Very good condition original antique Civil War Starr breechloading cavalry carbine in .54 percussion caliber. Mechanically functions fine and has nice markings. Lock and frame case colors are worn to silver color with some brown patina. Remaining metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. 21” barrel has original sights. Bore is fine and bright with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Brass buttplate and barrel band have attractive patina. A nice original Starr Cavalry Carbine!
