Very good condition Winchester Model 94 lever action saddle ring carbine in .30-30 caliber that is serial number 843xxx, which dates it to manufacture in 1919. This interesting gun is in the correct serial range for home guard/national guard use during and shortly after WWI, and this example has a New York Guard unit marking in the left side buttstock-“TR.H.SQ.B.N.Y.G. 35” for Troop H, Squadron B, New York Guard, Weapon 35. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. 20” round barrel has original period sights. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. A rare New York Guard marked Winchester Model 1894 saddle ring carbine.
