Very good condition original antique Civil War Maynard 2nd Model breech-loading percussion cavalry carbine in .50 caliber. Mechanically functions fine and has nice markings. Frame has mostly silver color. Remaining metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. 20” barrel has original sights. Bore is gray and pitted throughout with strong rifling. Stock was lightly buffed and has attractive color. Left side of wrist has a faint inspector cartouche. A nice looking original Civil War Maynard carbine.
