Very good condition antique Italian Model 1867 Carcano needle gun saddle ring carbine in 17.5mm caliber. Mechanically functions fine, uncertain if the firing pin is present. Metal finish is original bright with a little scattered gray and brown patina. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Complete with a replaced ramrod and correct original socket bayonet. Bayonet is in good condition. Fit on carbine is a little stiff. The lock ring stop is missing. A rare Carcano needle fire carbine that will make a fine addition to a collection.
