Very good condition WWI US Model 1917 Enfield Rifle in .30-06 caliber that was manufactured by Winchester, as marked on the receiver. Rifle is NOT import marked and has Winchester bolt, barrel, and stock. Barrel is dated “2-18” for February 1918. Other parts are Eddystone rear sight leaf spring and Remington rear sight leaf. Metal finish is nice original blue showing a little normal wear. Buttplate is painted black. Bore is fine and bright with strong rifling and a little pinprick pitting. Stock has original finish and shows a few normal handling marks. Forend tip is marked “W”. A nice Winchester M1917 Enfield Rifle for your collection.
