Good condition antique Brown Manufacturing Company Ballard military rifle in .50 caliber that features a combination rimfire cartridge / percussion breech block. The extractor pin is a replacement and a little loose, otherwise works fine. Receiver has darkened silver patina. 30” barrel has brown patina and original sights. Bore is good, bright with strong rifling and a little pitting. Forend has been refinished. Buttstock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. A hard to find Ballard Rifle that will make a great addition to a collection.
