Good condition WWII Finnish Model 1939 Mosin Nagant Rifle in 7.62 x 54r caliber that has the Sako Arsenal marking on the barrel and dated 1942. Rifle is import marked on the barrel. Bolt number has been scrubbed except for “1”. Floorplate does not match, and buttplate is unnumbered. Rifle was built using a repurposed receiver from a captured Russian M91 rifle that was manufactured by Tula in1898, so qualifies as an antique, no FFL required to purchase. Metal finish is original blue mostly worn to the white. Bore is good, a little gray, with good rifling. Stock has original finish and crisp edges. Right side buttstock has an arms depot cartouche. Complete with correct original cleaning rod and leather sling. A good example of a Sako M39 with a desirable antique receiver.
