Fine condition Winchester Model 12 pump action 12 gauge shotgun that is serial number 1117xxx, which dates it to manufacture in 1948. Mechanically functions fine. Shotgun was period, aftermarket customized. Receiver has added scroll engraving and has the name “John J. Winikainen” engraved on the left side. Metal finish is nice reblue with a few spots of loss, very little wear. 30” barrel is fitted with a Simmons Gun Specialties vent rib. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Custom stock has beautiful finish and grain pattern and shows some normal handling marks. Fitted with a Morgan adjustable recoil pad. A nice looking custom Winchester Model 12!
