Good condition WWI German Kar 98az Mauser Rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that was manufactured by Erfurt Arsenal in 1915, as marked on the receiver. Rifle is NOT import marked and has nonmatching numbers. Metal finish is reblued. Buttplate is “in the white” and has some pitting. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Stock was arsenal refinished. Right side buttstock has a Weimar eagle cartouche. A good representative example of a German Kar 98az Mauser rifle.
