Good condition WWII Finnish Civil Guard Model 1939 Mosin Nagant Rifle in 7.62 x 54r caliber that has Sako Arsenal and “Sk.Y.” Civil Guard markings on the barrel and dated 1943. Right side of barrel shank has Civil Guard district number “90799” for Vaasa District. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has all matching serial numbers including barrel, bolt, and floorplate. Original blue finish is mostly worn to the white. Bore is good, mostly bright, with good rifling that shows some normal wear. Stock has original finish and shows some wear and handling marks. Right side of wrist has a hairline crack. Right side buttstock has a “43” dated Civil Guard cartouche. A good example of a Finn Civil Guard M39 Mosin Nagant Rifle.
