Good condition original antique pre Civil War US Model 1819 Hall breech-loading rifle in .52 caliber. Originally manufactured as a flintlock and later arsenal converted to percussion. Manufactured by Harpers Ferry in 1832, as marked on the breech block. The hammer/sear spring is broken, otherwise works fine. Metal is “in the white” with some gray and brown patina. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling and a little pitting. Stock has even color and shows some normal handling marks. Underside of buttstock is marked “W”. complete with correct original ramrod. A hard to find Hall breechloading rifle that will make a great addition to a collection.
