CIVIL WAR IMPORT ITALIAN MUSKET-NAPOLI MARKED LOCK-W/ BAYONET-NICE-RARE

Very good condition original antique Civil War import Italian military musket in .71 caliber. Similar in configuration with the French Mle 1822T, and has Napoli Arsenal markings on the lock. Mechanically functions fine. Metal finish is original bright with some gray and brown patina. 40 ½” barrel has a dark smooth bore with some pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Complete with correct original ramrod and socket bayonet that is in very good condition. Bayonet has original bright finish with some gray and brown patina. Blade measures 18 ½” long. Fits musket fine and has a working lock ring. A hard to find Italian musket that will make a fine addition to a collection.
