USMC BRINGBACK FROM GUAM-W/ OLD TAG
Good condition WWII Japanese Type 38 Arisaka Carbine in 6.5 x 50mm caliber that has a full untouched mum on the receiver and was manufactured as part of the 2nd Series by Kokura Arsenal. Carbine is NOT import marked and has all matching serial and assembly numbers except the lower tang. This interesting gun comes with an old paper tag stating it was brought back from Guam by Ralph S. Dickerson, who was a Marine in the Ammunition Company of First Provisional Marine Brigade, Fleet Marine Force, Pacific. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear. Bore is good, mostly bright with strong rifling and a little pitting. Stock has been refinished. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A nice T-38 Arisaka Carbine with bringback provenance.
