Good condition WWII Japanese Type 2 Arisaka Paratrooper Rifle in 7.7mm caliber. Mum is ground. Receiver side rail has the Nagoya Arsenal marking. Rifle is NOT import marked and has matching serial numbers on the receiver, bolt body, safety, extractor, and firing pin. The halves of the takedown mechanism do not match. Rifle has an added matching number on the left side of the rear sight. Barrel does not match. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Forend and handguard have been shortened and the forend reshaped. Sling swivels are missing. Wood shows some normal handling marks. Underside of buttstock has two small kanji character inspector markings. A hard to find Type 2 Arisaka Paratrooper Rifle in any condition that can be rebuilt to original with a t-99 stock!
