Fine condition Persian Model 1949 Mauser Carbine in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that has a sharp clear Persian lion crest on the receiver ring and Farsi manufacturer markings on the side rail. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers including receiver, bolt, and stock. Metal finish is nice original blue. There is a little pitting on the receiver and a patch of pitting on the buttplate. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has excellent original finish and crisp edges. Top of wrist has a crack behind the receiver tang. Front of handguard has a hairline crack. Heel has a tiny crack. Right side buttstock has sharp clear matching serial number and inspector cartouches. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A nice Persian Model 1949 Mauser Carbine with matching numbers!
