Very good condition antique English Thomas’s Patent double action revolver in .450 Adams caliber. Mechanically functions fine and tight and features a unique quick-eject system with a camming barrel that has a bolt handle on the underside. Also features a hammer block safety on the left side of the frame. Left side of frame is marked “THOMAS’S PATENT NO. 779” with serial number 61. Revolver is retailer marked “WILKINSON, PALL MALL, LONDON” on the top strap. Frame and cylinder are “in the white” with some gray and brown patina. 5 ½” octagonal barrel has nice original high polish blue finish. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Wood grip has original finish and shows some handling marks. Original lanyard ring is present. The hammer spur has been trimmed. A rare and interesting revolver that will make a fine addition to a collection.
