Very good condition antique US Navy Colt Model 1896 Revolver in .38 Long Colt caliber. Mechanically functions fine, cylinder lockup is a little loose. Gun is marked “U.S.N./anchor/38D.A./No. 12011/J.N.J. 11261” on the butt. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Hard rubber grips have a good tight fit and show some normal handling marks, no damage. A nice antique US Navy Colt revolver.
