Very good condition original antique Civil War US Model 1862 Joslyn breechloading cavalry carbine in .52 rimfire caliber. Mechanically functions fine and has nice manufacturer markings. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear to plum brown patina. 22” barrel has original sights. Bore is dark with good rifling and some oxidation and pitting, may clean better. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks. No visible cartouches. A good example of an uncommon Civil War Joslyn Carbine.
