Good condition antique Kentucky / Pennsylvania style .50 caliber percussion muzzleloading rifle. Mechanically functions fine and features double set triggers. Not maker marked. Metal has mostly gray and brown patina. 39”, very heavy, octagonal barrel has a notch rear sight and a blade front sight. Bore is dark with good 7-groove rifling. Stock has even colored finish and shows some handling marks. Both sides of forend have a long hairline crack behind brass nosecap. Right side of stock has a chip in front of the lock. Right side buttstock has original brass patch box. Complete with a brass-tipped wooden ramrod. A massive American full-stock rifle that will make a great addition to a collection.
