Good condition US military M1 Garand semi auto rifle in .30-06 caliber that was manufactured by Springfield Armory. Receiver is serial number 3196842 which dates it to September 1944. Rifle is NOT import marked and action opens and closes. Has been built into a deactivated school practice gun with a welded/plugged barrel. The top gas nut and cylinder are welded on the bottom. The op rod is IHC, trigger housing is SA, barrel is marked SA 6-52. Stock has dings and normal handling markings, with a faint DOD on the grip.. Good parts that can be turned back into a working gun or used as a wonderful display or for a reenactor.
