Very good condition WWII German 98k Mauser Rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that is maker marked “BSW” on the receiver ring and dated 1939. Rifle shows rare and desirable Luftwaffe use with Luftamt firing proof marks on the receiver and barrel. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear to brown and gray patinas. Bore has a few small dark spots, otherwise bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Underside of buttstock has a matching serial number. Complete with cleaning rod. A rare Luftamt marked 98k Mauser rifle with matching numbers that will make a fine addition to a collection.
