RARE COLOR CASE HARDENED RECEIVER
Very good condition antique Winchester Model 1890 pump action rifle in .22 WRF caliber that is serial number 34xxx, which dates it to manufacture in 1895. Mechanically functions fine. Rifle has the rare color case hardened receiver and buttplate. The case colors show some normal wear. Remaining metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. 24” octagonal barrel has original sights. Bore is good with strong rifling and some pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. A hard to find antique Winchester Model 1890 rifle with the desirable color case hardened receiver.
