Very good condition original WWII Japanese army Type 95 NCO sword that is complete with matching numbered scabbard. Marked on the right side of the blade with serial number and Tokyo First Arsenal inspector proof mark. Marked on right side of fuchi with Suya Sword Shop trademark, Tokyo First Arsenal kanji character inspector proof mark, and Kokura Arsenal symbol. Blade has nice original bright finish. Tip has a ding. Aluminum handle has nice original paint. The screw and nut are missing and were replaced with a wooden pin. Brass tsuba has attractive patina. Scabbard latch functions fine. Matching numbered steel scabbard has original paint showing some wear, no dents. A nice Type 95 NCO sword with matching numbers.
