Very good condition original WWII US Model 1942 bayonet, as issued with the M1 Garand and Models 1903 and 03A3 Springfield Rifles. Bayonet is maker marked “U.F.H.” on the left ricasso for Union Fork & Hoe along with “U.-flaming bomb-S.” and dated 1942. Right ricasso has a flaming bomb marking. Bayonet has nice original parkerized finish showing a little normal wear. Full length 16” blade has been sharpened. Black plastic grips have a good tight fit and show some normal handling marks. Lock button functions fine. Fitted in an original WWII US Navy Mark 1 scabbard that has nice original green paint and no damage. A nice WWII US M1942 bayonet with full length blade.
