Very good condition Marlin Model 1895GBL “Guide Gun” lever action rifle in .45-70 Government caliber. Mechanically functions fine. Fitted with DRC “ghost ring” sights. Metal finish is original stainless with some normal handling marks and scratches. 16 ¼” barrel has a very good bright bore with strong rifling. Laminated stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. The forend has been carved down by the receiver. Fitted with a leather cartridge holder on the buttstock, which is marked “D. JOHNSTON MAKER ALASKA”. Also complete with a leather sling that is marked the same. A handy big bore lever gun that will make a great dangerous game rifle and a fun shooter.
