Good condition original Civil War Burnside 4th Model breechloading cavalry carbine. Mechanically functions fine. Metal has nice looking brown patina. Bore is dark and pitted with good average rifling. Stock has been refinished and shows some normal handling marks. A good representative example of a classic Civil War Burnside Carbine.
