Good condition antique British Pattern 1799 Light Dragoon flintlock pistol. Lock is maker marked “H. NOCK” with the King George crown. Barrel has a few proof marks. Mechanically functions fine and tight. Metal is all bright with a little scattered gray and brown patina. 7 ¾” barrel has a good smooth bore with some pitting. Stock has added varnish and shows some handling marks. Left side of forend tip has a couple of cracks. Left side of breech area has a small crack. There are a chip and a repaired chip above the lock. Right side of butt has a few chips. Complete with brass-tipped wooden ramrod. A classic antique British flintlock pistol that will make a fine addition to a collection.
