Very good condition antique Danish Model 1889 Krag Jorgensen Artillery Carbine in 8 x 58r caliber that has Copenhagen Rifle Factory markings on the receiver and dated 1892. Barrel is marked “crown 41” for 1941 date, and has an “A” serial number prefix which is correct for Artillery Carbines. Carbine is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Forend has a repair between the bands and the unit marking disc in the right side buttstock is removed. Underside of buttstock has a sharp clear matching serial number. Stock has the distinctive lug for attaching to a shield on the artillery gunner’s back. A hard to find Danish Krag Artillery Carbine with matching numbers.
