Fair condition original antique Civil War Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver in .44 percussion caliber. Serial number 44xxx, which dates it to manufacture in 1862. Gun has all matching serial numbers except the barrel wedge. Mechanically needs work as the cylinder does not index properly and does not lock up. Metal has gray patina with some pitting. 8” round barrel has a dark bore with strong rifling and some pitting. Wood grip has been refinished. Left side has a carved “cross” and a putty repair. Right side has a patch repair. A classic Civil War Colt 1860 Army Revolver that will make a nice addition to a collection.
