Good condition US military Model 1865 Spencer repeating cavalry carbine in .50 rimfire caliber. Mechanically functions fine and features the Stabler magazine cutoff. Nice markings. Metal has mostly brown and gray patina. 20” barrel has original sights. Bore is about good with strong rifling and some pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Left side buttstock has an inspector cartouche behind the saddle ring bar. A nice Spencer Model 1865 Carbine.
