Good condition antique Russian Model 1858/69 Krnka breechloading infantry rifle in 15.2 x 41r caliber. Mechanically complete and functions fine. Lock is dated 1858. Breech and barrel have the Tula “hammer” marking. Breech also has the Imperial Russian eagle marking. Metal is “in the white” with some gray and brown patina. Bore is fair with good rifling and some dark pitted patches. Stock shows some wear and may have been sanded. There is a crack in front of the triggerguard and a chip in the same area. Complete with cleaning rod. A hard to find Krnka rifle in any condition.
