Very good condition antique Japanese Type 13 Murata Rifle in 11mm Murata caliber that has a full untouched mum on the barrel and many kanji markings on the receiver. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers except the bolt. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. The sear is work and cocking piece sometimes slips when the bolt is closed. Complete with a replaced cleaning rod. Type 13 Murata Rifles are very rare, with production only lasting about 5 years before being replaced by the Type 18. A nice example that will make a fine addition to a collection.
