Very good condition original Boet War Transvaal OVS Model 1895 Mauser sawback bayonet that is maker marked “SIMSON & CO. SUHL” on the left ricasso. 18 ½” blade has nice original bright finish and crisp saw teeth. Guard has original bright finish with a little gray and brown patina. Brass grip has nice looking patina. Lock button and leaf spring function fine. No scabbard. A very rare bayonet that will make a fine addition to a collection.
