Very good condition original WWI-WWII era British Royal Navy Pattern 1846 officer sword. 31 ¼” blade has nice original bright finish and clear etched panels. Still has original leather washer at the base. Brass hilt has nice bright guard. Guard has crowned, fouled anchor. Folding reverse guard acts as a scabbard latch and works fine. Sword also features a lion head pommel. Leather covered grip has tight wire wrap. Fitted in correct original leather scabbard that has brass fittings. Leather is soft and supple with some normal wear, stitching is tight. A nice British Royal Navy Officer Sword for your collection.
