Good condition antique US Model 1873 lever action rifle in .38 WCF caliber that is serial number 241xxx, which dates it to manufacture in 1887. Mechanically functions fine. Receiver has been cleaned bright. Remaining metal has mostly plum brown patina. 24” octagonal barrel has a good, mostly bright, bore with strong rifling and some pitting. Stock shows some wear, handling marks, and finish loss. Forend fit has some play. A decent example of an antique Winchester Model 1873.
