Very good condition antique Swedish Model 1894 Mauser Carbine in 6.5 x 55m caliber that was manufactured by Oberndorf in 1895, as marked on the receiver. Carbine is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers except the bolt, which is a correct type. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some wear and handling marks. Underside of wrist has Swedish proof marks. Right side buttstock has original brass unit marking disc that has a Signal Troops “S1” unit marking. Complete with correct original leather sling. A hard to find antique Swedish Mauser Carbine. NOT updated to M94/14 configuration.
