ANTIQUE 1895 RECEIVER-ALL MATCHING NUMBERS
Good condition WWII Finnish Civil Guard Model 1939 Mosin Nagant Rifle in 7.62 x 54r caliber that has the Sako Arsenal marking on the barrel and dated 1942 along with the Civil Guard “Sk.Y.” marking. This interesting gun was produced using a repurposed receiver from an 1895 Tula production M1891 rifle and so qualifies as an antique, no FFL required to purchase. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has all matching serial numbers including barrel, bolt, and floorplate. Original blue finish is mostly worn to the white. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some wear and handling marks. Underside of forend has two hairlines between the bands. Right side buttstock has Sako Arsenal and arms depot cartouches. Complete with correct original cleaning rod. A hard to find Finn Civil Guard M39 rifle with matching numbers and a desirable antique receiver.
