Good condition original Prussian Model 1860 Dreyse Fusilier Bayonet that is maker marked on the left ricasso and dated 1862 on the right ricasso. Unit marked on the left side of the guard. 19 7/8” blade has dark gray patina with some pitting. Guard is bright with some pitting. Brass grip is bright and has some scratches and dings. Lock button and leaf spring function fine. Fitted in correct original leather scabbard that has brass throat. Tip is missing. Leather shows some normal wear. A rare bayonet that will make a fine addition to a collection. Muzzle ring is NOT bushed for the M1871 Mauser rifle.
