Very good condition WWII Portuguese M/941 (Model 1941) Mauser rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that has a sharp clear Portuguese crest on the receiver ring and Oberndorf manufacturer markings on the side rail. This rifle was manufactured under contract in Third Reich Germany and was essentially a K98k. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has all matching serial numbers except the buttplate, stock, bayonet lug, handguard, action screws, and cleaning rod. Rifle has original blue metal finish showing some normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and was lightly buffed. Right side buttstock has “eagle H” and Waffenamt cartouches. Left side buttstock has a very faint Portuguese crest. Complete with original front sight hood and nonmatching numbered cleaning rod. A nice Portuguese M/941 Mauser rifle for your collection!
